In the current global pandemic, healthcare workers are providing the essential care needed at hospitals and medical centers across the United States. While healthcare workers are undoubtedly heroes, other essential industries are reporting for duty and helping to keep key supply chain infrastructure up and running during these trying times.
Laborocity, a platform that matches temporary workers with the companies that need them, is filling jobs across multiple industries, which include but are not limited to restoration and cleaning, general labor, construction, warehouse work, lab techs, production associates, logistics operators, and workers across the supply chain for food and medical supplies.
We at Laborocity are taking every necessary precaution to keep our Doers (workers) safe and we want to recognize our workers as #COVIDheroes.
Some of the most essential work that Laborocity’s team does is restoration and COVID-19 cleanup. In order for companies to be able to return to work, their spaces must be cleaned, sanitized, and safe, which is what our Doers ensure. Our Doers go into known-infected work spaces to thoroughly rid all surfaces and spaces of the virus. This service, while necessary for companies to continue their work, showcases one of the many ways our Doers are #COVIDheroes. It is through their diligence and willingness to enter these spaces that will permit others to return to their work and allow businesses to be successful during these uncertain times.
Additionally, Laborocity’s warehouse workers are some of the dedicated individuals that pick and pack groceries and materials for online deliveries, which is essential to the current requirement for social distancing. Furthermore, quality control is of the utmost importance, and our Doers come into work making sure every product that leaves the warehouse meets quality standards across the board from food to medical devices. Moreover, the machine operators and pallet jack operators continue to operate heavy machinery that requires them to be in the facility for every shift. Our economy could not function without these essential workers, and Laborocity thanks all of our warehouse Doers for their hard work and dedication to their jobs every day. They are truly #COVIDheroes.
There are many #COVIDheroes that are braving this time to help others, to go to work, and to keep our communities strong in the face of uncertainty. If you have the chance, be sure to thank a #COVIDhero in your neighborhood, community, or in the world at large through social media. Healthcare workers, temporary labor, restoration workers, warehouse workers, delivery drivers, and the list goes on, are truly the shining light in this dark period.
